Grilled Salmon Burger with Slaw and Quinoa Salad

Ah, a benefit of being friends with Professional MC and Wedding DJ Carl Mindling: Carl knows how to cook and is a fantastic home chef!

Last week I was invited to join Carl and his friends Mark and Rebecca Ferrell, for lunch on his back patio.

This is what Carl whipped up for us: Grilled Wild Salmon Burgers with homemade hoisin BBQ sauce topped off with Asian slaw *Drool*

The side dish was a Quinoa Salad with spinach and fresh cherries. The meal was healthy and delicious, the weather sunny and the conversation was so very interesting.

Thanks again to Carl for being such a great host!

  1. Hey TSG, Thanks for all the props. You and the Fabulous Ferrells are welcome to be my culinary guinea pigs ANYTIME.

  2. Wow, everything looked so yummy! You have very talented friends, Stacie!

  3. Carl, just say when. I'm so there :P

I know Evonne, Carl is super talented in the kitchen. You should see his kitchen. I definitely suffer from kitchen envy:

The only thing that would be better is if we were neighbors so I could have his cooking more often.
