The book is an homage to the unique individuals who attend Burning Man (so yes, there's some nudity). What blows me away is the sheer creativity of the people featured in the book and how photographer Julian Cash has captured the beauty of the individuals and the way they express themselves in often startlingly beautiful, raw, and shockingly colorful photographs.
In order to bring the highest quality, printed, coffee table book to Burning Man fans and the curious, creator Julian Cash is using a pre-order, fundraising program called Kickstarter to get the book published. The video is truly Awesome! Epoch! And Extreme! Take a peek, if you dare :) The countdown is on. If enough people sponsor or pre-purchase a copy of the book, all of the donations move forward and book is printed. If the goal is not met, nobody donates and printing the book is delayed until funding can be acquired.

Currently the book is about 200 pages and includes many thousands of images. We will be doing an offset print run of several thousand copies of the book. By funding this project, you are helping us to create the world where a book like this can exist.
The score is perfect. It's called "Blockhead" and is by a group called the Yard Dogs.
Here are just a few of my favorite images from "The People of Burning Man" book...
